Technicolour Humanist Wedding at Chidham Barn

A super chilled out, super colourful wedding at Chidham Barn wedding venue in Chichester

If you’re looking for some bright colour inspo then you found it – Kate and George asked their guests to wear all the colours and every single guest embraced it wholeheartedly  – such a joy to see so many happy colours. Kate and George arrived in style too with a bowler hat and flower crown and Kate in a forest green jumpsuit.

The barn was dressed to impress too with hanging greenery, fairy lights, pops of colour from yellow serviettes and even more colour from the sunflowers and purple gladioli in the impressive flower displays by the barn doors, an absolute feast for the eyes.

Their humanist ceremony was held outside, looking out over Chichester Harbour which held fond childhood family memories for Kate, and I felt that the outdoor setup really added to the relaxed vibe of the day.

As a special extra touch during the ceremony, the rings were passed around before the exchange to all the guests, who made a silent wish for the couple.

They wanted to mainly capture their guests with a few images of themselves by the golden fields around Chidham barn. I love capturing the guests and there were so many little moments to capture on this day, two babies trying on their parent’s sunglasses, a little flower girl trying to take the Father of the Bride’s speech notes (while he was giving said speech) and a young couple looking out over the gorgeous views.

There’s absolutely nothing I didn’t love about capturing this epic epic day….
