A gorgeous springtime wedding filled with romantic images in the rolling Sussex countryside.
How’s your week going so far? I’m slowly coming out of a crazy busy, chained to the desk kinda zone and I’m now catching up on some well overdue tasks like blogging and getting out for som exercise (its possibly been about 8 weeks… maybe more??) oops, oh well! It’s about time I shared with you this gorgeous wedding from May when the oilseed rape fields were in full bloom. Becky and Lewis were lucky enough to have one of these gorgeous fields just near their wedding venue in Lavant in the heart of West Sussex. We definitely made full use of it and the many other textures around too! Weddings are about the one you love and the people who love you and these guys completely embraced that. I was warmly welcomed into their small intimate wedding day by them and their wonderful family and friends.
They kicked the day off with a small ceremony at Portsmouth Registry office which I love as it’s absolutely flooded with light…
Followed by some group photos and portraits in the beautiful garden there, we were spoiled for choice with textures, colours and backgrounds.
I just loved this blue stuff, I’m not sure what it’s called but it made a brilliant backdrop for these portraits of Becky and Lewis, even mirroring the Lilacs in Becky’s bouquet!
And then, boom, we landed in this gorgeous field in Lavant with stunning afternoon sun to boot!
We also found this rustic ivy wall, I do love a bit of Ivy it gives a really timeless feel…
I hope you enjoyed Becky and Lewis’s images, if you’d like something similar for your special day then do get in touch!
