March Wedding at Edes House in Chichester
A small wedding on a fresh March day in Chichester, Sussex
Lauren and Joe asked me to capture their small, relaxed wedding day. They wanted to capture the ceremony, some photos of their family and some photos of them together then some images at their reception. Due to the timings of their meal being served right after the guests arrived at the reception, I suggested we take some relaxed shots of Lauren getting ready instead of the meal and these turned out to be wonderful moments of her, her daughter and parents sharing priceless memories together. My favorite was Lauren’s Dad watching his grandaughter sing and dance her heart out to “Let it Go”!
Both their venues made perfect backdrops to their portraits, Edes House with it’s old brick wall and Chamelia in full bloom just in time for us, and The Royal Oak in Midhurst with it’s rustic orange ferns and old tree strung with light bulbs made it completely romantic…
“Thank you so much for being part of our special day Lucy. We can’t imagine having anyone else having taken our photographs – you made us both feel so at ease and really are so talented, The images are just beautiful, we can’t stop looking at them!” Lauren & Joe
