Chidham Barn Wedding Fair

A wedding silhouette photo of a bride and groom taken in a barn doorway in Chidham

I hope you’re well! I bet you’re looking forward to another lovely bank holiday this coming weekend, I know I am! It’s been pretty full on over here, I’ve been preparing for the Chidham barn wedding fair which was on Sunday. I’ve also had a little lady turn 6 today so we’ve had all the family over in the garden at the weekend and a gang of 6-year-olds over today for pizza, cake, disco dancing and makeovers galore so I’m hoping the coming weekend will be a little bit more restful (Always hopeful!)

Chidham Barn really is the most beautiful venue in a stunning location, surrounded by fields on all sides and with a view to the sea too. You can find more info about it here: http://onceuponafield.co.uk/locations/chidham/

The ladies at Empirical Events http://www.empiricalevents.co.uk/events.shtml put on a fantastic day, there were so many brilliant and really friendly other suppliers there. They even had the gourmet chef providing visiting couples with slices of wood-fired pizza to try. You can check them out here: https://www.thegourmetchef.co.uk/wood-fired-pizza/

I was lucky enough to be next to Iryna from Irma’s Craft who makes beautiful floral arrangements from Deco Clay, she makes some stunning headpieces, and they’re light as a feather to wear and you can keep them for years to come http://www.irmascraft.co.uk/ it was really interesting chatting to her about her work and the process of making these beautiful pieces.

And here’s the Lucy Davis Photography stand in action!

(By the way) if you love house plants my monstera (Cheese Plant) and Pillea (Chinese Money Plant) are from The Little Botanical they come in gorgeous pots and are all grown locally in Runcton. (I’m getting quite addicted to them!)

And here’s a few images from the shoot at the beautiful Chidham Barn:
